Dream, Build it, Host it, Run it.

Be Digital is a one-person practice run from NYC by Brian Uckert since 2002. We build, host, and operate the digital presence for small businesses using AI agents that draft SEO reports, respond to reviews, and surface leads — work you review in five minutes a month, not five hours a week.

For regulated enterprises we advise on GenAI and AppSec, anchored in a published MCP server with five ordered guardrails, eight tools, three pluggable LLM providers, and end-to-end OpenTelemetry observability.

Two lanes, one operator, no agency overhead.

Two lanes. One operator.

Managed AI Web Presence

You're great at your trade — not at chasing Google rankings, replying to reviews, or figuring out why your site loads slowly. Be Digital runs the whole thing for you.

AI agents draft the SEO reports, watch your Google Business Profile, and flag problems before they cost you customers — you just review it, five minutes a month.

Plans from $500/mo — no setup fees, no contracts.

GenAI / AppSec Advisory

Shipping GenAI in a regulated environment means proving it's safe — guardrails that hold and an audit trail your risk and compliance teams will accept.

Be Digital advises on exactly that, anchored in a published MCP server reference implementation: five ordered guardrails, eight tools, and end-to-end OpenTelemetry observability.

About Brian

Brian Uckert, operator of Be Digital Biz Inc., midtown Manhattan office

Be Digital is operated by Brian Uckert, a platform and security engineer with 25+ years in enterprise infrastructure. Recent engagements include Northwestern Mutual and observability work at a major New York bank. Be Digital itself has been live in midtown Manhattan since 2002, hosting client sites on AWS since 2011.

The work has evolved with the stack — from LAMP-era CMS builds to modern static sites with AI agents handling content, SEO monitoring, and review responses on an autonomous loop that I review weekly.

Today the practice runs two lanes: managed AI web presence for a tight roster of NYC and Long Island small businesses, and GenAI/AppSec advisory for regulated industries — anchored in a published MCP server reference implementation. One operator. No subcontractor chains. The work is the marketing.

Real work. Real clients.

Enterprise observability architecture: OpenTelemetry metrics, traces, and logs unified in Grafana with Tempo and Loki backends

Enterprise Observability

OpenTelemetry-based observability platform — metrics, traces, and logs unified in Grafana with Tempo and Loki backends. A root parent span opens for each request; every guardrail, tool call, and downstream service runs as a child span beneath it, and that trace ID is stamped into every log line — so one correlation ID stitches spans, traces, and logs into a single timeline.
